News: Woman taken to hospital after robbery outside fire station

A woman has been left with injuries to her face, neck and back of her head after a robbery outside of a fire station.

Lincolnshire Police received a report of a robbery outside of the fire station in Nettleham Road in Lincoln at around 12.50am today, Thursday July 11.

Police say they understand a man and a woman assaulted the female victim who is in her 30s and she had her bag stolen.

The man was said to be on a pushbike and the assault is believed to have momentarily stopped when a vehicle passed by.

The victim was taken to hospital by an officer after the attack and a man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident.


However, Lincolnshire Police are still appealing for information and would specifically like to speak to a driver who may have seen the robbery at the time.
