News: Convicted rapist who fled Lincolnshire jail still on run after nine days

Police are continuing to search for a convicted rapist who has been on the run for nine days.

Stephen Tierney, 39, absconded from North Sea Camp near Boston on Wednesday, July 3.

Police say they are urgently seeking to locate Tierney and that he poses a risk to the public.

The advice is not to approach him if you see him but to call 101 quoting incident number 316 of July 3.

Tierney is described as about 5ft 7ins, of small build and with brown/ginger hair. He has the word ‘wrist’ tattooed on his right arm.

Police say he was last seen in Boston Market Place and that he may have used public transport to travel to Lincoln.

 

Tierney has connections to Northamptonshire and London.

Lincolnshire Police is working with Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire police forces and British Transport Police.
